I am exhausted. I did not do much business throughout the day, but talked to a lot of people and saw some wonderful things. I hope that I can remember half of the things to relate in the next few weeks/days. I received my BEP submarine souvenir card. They are nicer than I expected. I will buy a quantity of the "regular ones" that you can buy at the issue price of $5 plus post. Just let me know if you want one/some. You can also wait till you want to buy something else and save the postage because these "regulars" will not run out soon. Like I said, the hand-pulled items are nicer than I expected too, and I am happy to have one (of the 100 made). If you want one of these, order them now and you can have one of them for $175. Probably will ask $200 if they make it home from the show. I bought a very minor MPC error today. It was so minor that I considered not buying it, but it does have several important aspects. The note is a Series 541 $1 with the serial number of the next note transferred (in part) to the back. These are nice errors if you can make out the next number in the last digit. This proves that it is a transfer instead of a "soak through." In this case, it is questionable if it is possible to make out the next number. However, otherwise it is fairly clear so I bought it. This is an example of how important it is too look at the back of notes. Too often there is something significant that we miss by just not looking! Notice the backs. Here is a tip that has not yet been published. Series 541 is particularly prone to errors! Give them special attention when you see them. Man, chat was terrible Wed night. Another exciting day.
