Hello, Well, I am a little frustrated at the moment. I am at the chess tournament and just won my first game. Although it seemed hard at the time, I guess it was not all that difficult. No, the game is not the source of the frustration. The frustration is that chat is goint on at this moment and I cannot participate because I am on a computer at the college where the tournament is being held so I do not have the reuqruied software and cannot down load it. I may be able to get on when I get back to the room, but that will be quite late. Oh well, there are never easy desisions about computers! Does anyone know a mail or similar system where I can create mail and have it sent on a schedule? In cases like this, I would like to be able to create the grams ahead and have them mailed while I am away. Any help (wiz) will be appreciated. I recevieved the following inquiry from Larry Gibbs. It is included along with my response for your information. Fred, Have you ever seen an MPC where a planchette has fallen off the surface and removed part of one of the numbers in the serial number? I recently acquired a 681 10c in F Serial # C09894255C P#61. In the number 4 the front point is gone and a small round circle of white remains. Guessing the planchette was not well bound into the paper surface and it may have stuck to the press when the serial number was printed. Ever seen one before? Larry Gibbs Thanks for writing. No, I have not seen the exact situation you describe. I have seen planchettes that have fallen off, but not one in the Serial number. Planchettes are mixed in the liquid paper (or at least while still in the semi liquid/solid state, I am not certain) so they are distributed throughout the paper at various depths and angles. Do I have the courage to tackle the isse of values and prices in the gram? I am thinking about it for tomorrow or soon. Have a nice Saturday and I sure hope to see you on chat and if I cannot be there, I hope that you are able to solve the world's problems without me!!
