If you have other versions of gram 30 in your inbox,
trash them. If you have a letter intended for Ed
Beaman, trash it too. Sorry about all of this.

Wow, miss a day or two and there is so much to report
that I need a full time staff just for the gram!

I was only in chat for a few minutes last night (sorry
about that), but it was a good one. Professor Ski was
holding class. I like Larry's handle of MPCski. It is
much better than most of the others (including mine).
Anyway, we need to make a new one for profski,
porfeski, or something like that. What do you guys
think?

Well today is the day that the BNR comes out. Only a
few people get an express version of the paper and
those are the only people who will get it today. I
know that Doug Bell paid the price to get this month's
copy via express. Possibly we can get a report from
him on the paper tomorrow or more likely he can report
tonight at chat! Doug, we want to hear.

I get my BNR via first class. I think that we
discussed this here in the gram in the past. I get it
first class because I am such a VIP (and because I
paid the $30 or so to get it(grin))! Anyway, sometimes
I get mine on Saturday of the week that it is
distributed. However, because of the holiday I think
even most of the first class copies will not be
delivered until Tue. Many of the normal 2nd class
copies will then be delivered on that day too, so the
email and phones will probably start on Tue.

I continue to ask (beg, plead, etc) with Marcus to
allow us to have a copy of the article distributed
here in the gram. Indeed, if he would give the go
today, we could have an EXTRA! Hound him please
(Marcus@papermoneyworld.com).

There should be another article in there on MPC
multiple printings. This will be the first time that
the information has been divulged to the general MPC
public on these multis. Sort of makes the Memphis BNR
an MPC issue with two stories!

Daid Kranz (of the BNR) and I have sort of agreed to
make the Feb or Mar 2001 an unofficial MPC issue. The
idea is that I will coordinate (or write) a couple MPC
stories and we will try to coordinate to have dealers
place their MPC ads in that issue so that it will be
an unofficial MPC issue. I love using the back door to
get things done! 

I am going to be out of town for the long weekend. I
am going to Chicago for a chess tournament. Unless
chat goes very long, I will not be able to get on
tonight, but might be able to on Sat or Sun. Hope to
be able to read the chat logs daily and also process
email, but I cannot be sure. 

Not only will I be busy with chess, but the boss is
going too so I will be under all sorts of PRESSURE!

Am also hoping to be able to send grams out while
away. Have started working on them so that will be
interesting.

I continue to have computer problems. The hard drive
with some of my data and with my printer driver is not
working. I cannot print anything and cannot find many
things so it is a real problem. That is just one of
the many things holding up the MPC replacement book.
However, the manuscript is safe (so far).
