Yesterdays Question 187. Difficuly 3. Name three past Fest Championship contest winners. Answers and comments: The championship winners are (I think): Marcus Turner, Jim Downey, Jack Hunter, and Jim Downey. The only source for this information (for now) is the Gram. This seems like something that should be listed in each edition of the MPC book. ========================================== Editorial ========================================== Fester Tolek gave me a t-shirt a few years ago. It has a Nike brand symbol (upside down) and the catchy phrase: Just Put It Off. I guess that I should adopt that as my slogan. Indeed, possibly I can have it put on the next series of Fest notes. (We must always have a set ready even if there is no need or likely need.) Anyway, I am pleased to (finally) publish a draft training schedule. Please look it over for mistakes. It is critical that we fine tune the schedule since we have a reputation of following it the minute (choke). In spite of some of the late info, the excitement is building. I am excited and I know that many others are as well. Of course you can also anticipate that there might be a surprise or two. I hope to publish the battalion roster tomorrow. I am behind in compiling that too. I have not heard from several old timers whom I am sure are coming. It would be great if you contacted me (soon) confirming details of your arrival etc. ========================================= Mail Call (send mail to MPCGram@yahoo.com) =========================================== I've gotten some inputs for Festers looking for rides, but to date, I have not gotten any drivers. So, if you are traveling through Detroit, Cleveland, or Toledo, and don't mind picking someone up, please let me know. Thanks, Sparky mcwatson@yahoo.com =========================================== Calendar =========================================== 2007 MPCFest: March 23-25 2007 details TBA. 14 and 15 April 2007 The annual "Maastricht" show, officially named "PaperMoney Fair-Maastricht" will take place, with dealer set up on the 13th, at the "Polfermolen" in Valkenburg, Netherlands.
