In general these should relate to our collective collecting passion, but you may also use it to go on record about important personal goals. (Use the gram and peer presure to help you stop smoking, lose weight, or get in shape.) ==================================================== Editorial ---------------------------------------------------- I know that everyone will be jealous. Marv Mericle hand delivered a copy of the new M2C2 Newsletter here to headquarters. As usual, it is full of interesting things including a plug for the Gram. This is a great circular approach that we are using here. If you have not sent a long self addressed envelope to Marv for your newsletter, send it to M2C2, Box 26, Prairie Creek, In 47869-0026. It is a good idea to include a little story, question, comment, or something with your envelope. I was very pleased that Marv reported that he recieved a large number of requests for the printed newsletter after the notice in the gram. I also said that gram readers were particularly generous with the contributions that they sent! It is absolutely not required nor even requested, but donations are greatly appreciated. The M2C2 Newsletter, just as the Gram, is not only not for profit, but does not generate ANY revenue! They are services, by, of, and for the community. ==================================================== Mail Call ---------------------------------------------------- For Indexer Ed, Suggest you list MPC Gram # / date and then its main articles by topic/author. Leave out the routine items such as calendar, scholarship list, etc. Regards, webfootbob Dear Fred, The Gram is great and your contributors are keeping it quite interesting to this small-time collector. Many thanks. In the December BNR, D. Seelye suggested in his mpc advertisement that you might have a story to tell regarding a set of uncut sheets of 3rd Series Thailand issues you once tried to buy in Memphis. If no one has asked yet, will you kindly consider recalling this in the Gram sometime? As we've never met I can only guess, but I would imagine this is another tale your friends and fellow collectors would enjoy. Especially as you are known to have become, by all recent accounts, a very tenacious bidder/buyer (ie. the inverted back error in Cinncinnati). Happy holidays to you and your family. Ort Cowles Editor Your requesting of Howard A. Daniel III to be a gram columnist is a great idea, I second this request. Found the article very interesting, look forward to reading more.
