EDITORIAL
Sorry
Gramsters. I intended to have a very nice Series 611 article featured in todays
Gram, as it is Gram 611, but both my intended authors let me down. I had to
create something in a rush, and the above is the result of my efforts. Make no
mistake, is is a consolidation of information from Fred's book, and my Website.
There is also a nice selection of Series 611 notes for sale below in the For
Sale Section.
The next Gram Series match will be 641 on May 31, and you
just know who will be doing that one, AND you can be real confident I won't be
forgetting it!
==============================================
MAIL CALL
Guy, I can't report the status of the paper in my 651
notes because that is the only series for which as yet I have not one position 8
note. Come on, all you sellers, who has a position 8 piece in series 651 for
me? Joe

Hi Phil, I have appreciated your comments in the Gram
on the 651 fractionals. Also, the data on your web page is thought provoking
indeed. Thanks for publishing the data for the MPC Community.
On your
comments - Yes, I know of a number of about 4 sets for sale in the $3,000 range;
but which have been unsold for a period of time. It will be interesting to see
how the Heritage auction goes. Some nice stuff on there. Hopefully I won't
be bidding against you!! Those lots have to be from a major dealer or collectors
estate. Any ideas? Take care, Tom

both first and second printings. Guy Araby (date listed 04 APRIL 2002)
Page 287, Series 661 Series Summary, 25 cent note: the

Just recount P.289. Guy Araby (date listed 08 APRIL 2002)
Page 398, Series #541 $10 on "UNC." price is
$2500, on P.214 the UNC. price is $3500. Also the rest of the prices don't match

price. Guy Araby (date
