I really think we're probably wrestling with semantics here, as I have several war dated bonds which logic suggests were issued to finance the war. I would like to kick this around with other Gramsters both here and at the Summer Seminar. As an aside, I just uncovered a collection of 54 different Lottery Tickets from the Protectorate of Bohemia-Moravia. Will not have them in time for the Seminar but I think these will break ground for a new chapter in WW2R. Another area crying for coverage is that of German lotteries run between 1933 and the introduction of the Deutsche Reichslotterie. There is a large amount of material here waiting to be researched. =========================================== Editorial/opinion =========================================== Wow, it sounds like we might be making a dent in the AOL problem. However, there is still time to salvage a mini Fest since it does not take much. Three collectors at one place meets the minimums I think. The Colorado Springs Coin Show sounds like a/the place. Two oclock in the entranceway is the time. Entry admission is a show an tell item. If you/we (or anyone else) can think of something better between then and now, we can do that too.
